Cribmed Partner Program Terms & Conditions

The following terms apply to approved partners promoting Cribmed through referral links, partner tools, and the Cribmed widget.

1. Overview

The Cribmed Partner Program allows approved partners (“Partner”) to promote Cribmed listings via an embedded widget, referral links, or other approved marketing materials on their website, platform, or approved channels. Partners may earn a commission on successful bookings made through their valid referral, subject to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility & Approval

• All partners must apply through the official Cribmed Partner application process.
• Approval is at the sole discretion of Cribmed.
• Cribmed will usually respond within 48 hours, and in any case generally within 7 days or less.
• Only approved partners may participate in the program and access partner tracking links, widget/embed code, partner dashboard, and commission statements.
• Cribmed may reject any application without providing a reason.

3. Partner Account & Access

• Partner access is personal to the approved applicant or approved business entity.
• Partners must keep their login details secure.
• Partners must not share partner access, tracking links, dashboard access, or widget code with any non-approved person or business.
• If an approved partner shares official access or code with an unverified or non-approved applicant, Cribmed may suspend tracking, withhold commissions, or terminate the partner account.

4. Referral Tracking & Cookies

Last Click Wins

Cribmed uses a last-click attribution model. The last valid approved partner referral source before the booking is completed will receive the commission.

This means a partner may still earn the commission even if they were not the first to introduce the customer, provided they were the final valid referral before the booking.

Cookie Duration

Referral tracking cookies are valid for 60 days. This period reflects typical Cribmed booking behaviour, as many properties are available immediately or within approximately 30 days, and most qualified users decide within a relatively short timeframe.

Tracking Limitations

• Tracking depends on browser settings, cookies, device usage, privacy tools, ad blockers, and other technical factors.
• Cribmed uses commercially reasonable methods to track referrals, but tracking accuracy cannot be guaranteed in every case.
• Cribmed’s internal tracking records and booking attribution data shall determine commission eligibility, and Cribmed’s decision on attribution shall be final.

5. Commission Structure

• Commission is earned on successful completed bookings only.
• A booking is eligible for commission only when the booking has been accepted and confirmed, required payments have been received, the tenant has checked in, and the booking has not been cancelled, refunded, reversed, or found to be invalid.
• Cribmed may define or revise partner commission rates, categories, or structures from time to time.

Future Commission Rate Changes

Cribmed reserves the right to change the commission rate or commission structure in the future by giving the Partner at least 60 days’ notice. Any revised rate or structure will apply only from the effective date stated in the notice.

6. Commission Statements & Payments

Monthly Statements

• Cribmed may issue monthly partner commission statements where commission is due.
• Statements may include booking references, commission calculations, and total payable.

Exact Amount Payable

Cribmed will pay exactly the commission amount stated on the commission statement. If the Partner is required to apply VAT, sales tax, or similar tax, the Partner must calculate this within the stated commission amount, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Cribmed.

Payment Timing

Commission payments are made not before the 20th of each month.

Invoice Requirement

The Partner must upload a valid invoice after receiving the commission statement. Payment will only be processed after invoice upload, any required review, and approval by Cribmed admin.

Notifications

• The Partner will receive an email when the commission statement is ready.
• The Partner will receive an email when payment has been marked as paid.
• Cribmed admin will receive an email when the Partner uploads an invoice.

7. Refunds, Cancellations, Reversals & Adjustments

• If a booking is cancelled, refunded, reversed, disputed, fraudulent, duplicated, or otherwise found not to qualify, the related commission may be reduced, cancelled, withheld, or clawed back.
• Cribmed reserves the right to correct tracking errors, duplicate commissions, incorrect calculations, or commissions resulting from abuse, error, or manipulation.
• If necessary, Cribmed may offset such amounts against future commissions.

8. Partner Responsibilities

• Represent Cribmed fairly, professionally, and accurately.
• Avoid misleading statements, unrealistic claims, or false promises.
• Use only approved Cribmed branding, messaging, links, and materials where required.
• Maintain a professional website or platform suitable for displaying the widget or referral materials.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including advertising, tax, consumer protection, and privacy laws.
• Ensure that their website or platform does not contain unlawful, offensive, misleading, defamatory, or inappropriate content.

9. Prohibited Activities

• Spam, misleading ads, fake traffic, bots, cookie stuffing, or deceptive practices.
• Self-referrals or fake bookings intended to generate commissions.
• Interference with tracking systems, referral attribution, cookies, or reporting.
• Copying, altering, manipulating, or misusing Cribmed’s tracking technology.
• Bidding on Cribmed brand terms in paid advertising unless expressly approved in writing.
• Presenting themselves as employees, agents, or legal representatives of Cribmed unless formally authorised.
• Sharing partner access, embed code, or official materials with unapproved third parties.

Where prohibited activity is suspected, Cribmed may suspend tracking, withhold commissions, investigate the account, or terminate participation immediately.

10. Intellectual Property

Cribmed grants the Partner a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use approved Cribmed materials solely for participation in the Partner Program, including approved referral links, widget/embed code, branding assets, and promotional materials.

All intellectual property rights, including rights in the website, widget, content, logos, listing data, and software, remain the sole property of Cribmed.

11. Limitation of Liability

• Cribmed will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss.
• Cribmed will not be liable for loss of revenue, commission, profit, opportunity, goodwill, or business.
• Cribmed will not be liable for technical interruptions or outages.
• Cribmed will not be liable for tracking failures outside Cribmed’s reasonable control.
• Cribmed will not be liable for booking losses caused by listing changes, price changes, property unavailability, or landlord decisions.
• Cribmed will not be liable for any issues arising from the use, implementation, or performance of the Partner Widget or embed code.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cribmed’s total liability under or in connection with the Partner Program shall be limited to the total unpaid valid commission due to the Partner for the specific month in dispute.

12. Suspension & Termination

• Cribmed may suspend or terminate a Partner account immediately, with or without notice, where these Terms are breached, fraud or suspicious activity is suspected, the Partner becomes inactive for an extended period, the Partner damages or risks damaging Cribmed’s reputation, the Partner misuses the widget, links, brand, or program access, or the Partner shares partner access or code with unapproved parties.
• Upon suspension or termination, access to the dashboard, tracking links, and widget may be disabled.
• Unpaid commission may be withheld pending investigation.
• Invalid or disputed commission will not be payable.

13. Modifications to the Program or Terms

Cribmed may update, amend, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Partner Program or these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Where changes are material, Cribmed will make reasonable efforts to notify Partners in advance. Continued participation in the Partner Program after such changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Widget Embed Code & Technical Disclaimer

Use of the Widget

• Cribmed may provide the Partner with embeddable widget code (“Widget”) for use on the Partner’s website or platform.
• The Widget must be used as provided by Cribmed.
• The Partner must not modify, reverse engineer, tamper with, or interfere with the Widget or its tracking functionality unless expressly approved in writing by Cribmed.

Partner Technical Responsibility

• Implementing the Widget correctly.
• Ensuring compatibility with their website, CMS, theme, scripts, plugins, and hosting environment.
• Maintaining their own website, security, speed, and uptime.
• Testing the Widget after installation and after any website changes.

No Guarantee of Availability or Performance

• Cribmed does not guarantee that the Widget will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• Cribmed does not guarantee compatibility with every platform or configuration.
• Cribmed does not guarantee that listings, availability, pricing, or content shown in the Widget will always be current or complete.
• Cribmed does not guarantee that tracking will function in every case.

Listings, availability, prices, commissions, and displayed information may change at any time.

No Responsibility for Partner Website

• Cribmed is not responsible or liable for website downtime, slow performance, or errors on the Partner’s website.
• Cribmed is not responsible or liable for incorrect installation or implementation of the Widget.
• Cribmed is not responsible or liable for conflicts with third-party plugins, themes, scripts, tracking tools, or browser settings.
• Cribmed is not responsible or liable for loss of referral attribution caused by ad blockers, privacy restrictions, browser cookie limitations, user device changes, or other external technical limitations.

Widget Provided “As Is”

The Widget and embed code are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Cribmed disclaims all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

15. No Employment, Agency or Partnership Relationship

Participation in the Cribmed Partner Program does not create any employment, agency, franchise, joint venture, or legal partnership relationship between Cribmed and the Partner.

The Partner acts as an independent promotional partner only.

The Partner has no authority to:

• bind Cribmed,
• negotiate on behalf of Cribmed,
• make guarantees or commitments in Cribmed’s name,
• present themselves as an official representative of Cribmed unless expressly authorised in writing.

16. Data Protection & GDPR

Data Protection & Privacy

Both Cribmed and the Partner agree to comply with all applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and any applicable local legislation.

Roles of the Parties

• Cribmed acts as an independent data controller for users who visit its website and complete bookings.
• The Partner acts as an independent data controller for visitors to their own website or platform.
• Each party is responsible for its own compliance obligations.

Use of Cookies & Tracking

• The Cribmed Partner Program uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to identify referral sources, attribute bookings, and calculate commissions.
• The Partner is responsible for ensuring that their website clearly informs users about the use of cookies, obtains any required consent before cookies are placed where required, and includes appropriate cookie and privacy notices.

No Sharing of Personal Data

The Partner does not receive personal data relating to tenants or bookings unless explicitly agreed in writing. Commission statements will contain only the information necessary to identify transactions and calculate commission.

Data Security

Each party agrees to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction, or misuse.

Liability for Compliance

Each party is independently responsible for its own GDPR and data protection compliance. Cribmed shall not be liable for any failure by the Partner to comply with applicable data protection or cookie laws.

17. Acceptance of Terms

By applying to the Cribmed Partner Program, signing up, accessing the partner area, using the widget, using referral links, or participating in the program in any way, the Partner confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
