Process for Bulk Property Requests

At Cribmed, we facilitate property rentals for cinema productions needing accommodations for actors and crew. Below is a step-by-step guide for both Productions and Landlords to ensure a smooth process:

For Productions

1. Provide Your Requirements:
   Share your accommodation needs (e.g., number of properties, location preferences, budget, etc.).
2. Initial Property Search:
   We search our database for suitable properties for your desired dates according to the calendars on www.cribmed.com and compile an UNCONFIRMED list. At this stage, we have not contacted landlords to verify availability or interest.
3. Review and Shortlist:
   Production should review the UNCONFIRMED list and select the properties you feel will best suit your actors and crew. Send us your shortlist.
4. Landlord Confirmation:
   We contact landlords of the shortlisted properties to:
• Confirm their availability.
• Confirm their interest in renting to your production.
5. Receive Updated Shortlist:
   We provide you with an updated shortlist of properties where landlords have confirmed both availability and interest.
6. 3-Day Decision Window:
   Landlords are asked to hold the properties for 3 days, during which you can consult with your team, actors, and crew to finalize your choices.
7. Confirm Bookings:
   Notify us within the 3-day window of the properties you'd like to book.

For Landlords

1. Initial Inquiry:
   If your property appears on a production’s shortlist, Cribmed will contact you to:
• Confirm its availability.
• Ensure you're interested in renting to a production team.
2. Tax and Rental Implications:
   Be aware that renting to productions may involve additional considerations, such as higher taxes. Check with your accountant before confirming availability of your property.
3. Holding Period:
   If you agree to proceed, we will ask you to hold your property for 3 days while the production finalizes their selection.
4. Booking Confirmation:
   Once the production confirms their choice within the 3-day period, we will start to finalize the booking with you.

Important Notes

• The UNCONFIRMED list is preliminary and may include properties not yet approved by landlords.
• Although all good intentions we cannot guarantee the properties remain available during this 3-day decision window.
• This process ensures transparency and minimizes confusion for both productions and landlords.
