The Clockwork Door
This friendly place has a great idea: you pay for the time you stay! Instead of paying for the coffee and staying until the staff starts giving you angry looks, this place asks you to pay for your time instead. They have different rooms for video games, studying, kitchen and the main space. While you are studying, you can get unlimited tea, coffee, biscuits from the kitchen and enjoy the wi-fi; board games, video games and cozy rooms for:

Dubray Books Café Grafton Street
This café is located just above the bookshop so you can take a break and work on your laptop while being surrounded by the bookshelves and natural light that comes from the big glass windows. Just enjoy a cup of coffee in the co-working area and listen to the musicians from the street while studying. A little tip: you might need to come early to find a seat. If you’re in love with books this place is perfect for you!

This lovely café is becoming students’ favorite with its small and friendly environment. There are tables inside and outside and you can enjoy both seated and take away. If you have any crumbs left over you can just feed the ducks that are around.

Network Café
Network is a new coffee shop open seven days a week, it serves high quality coffee in a relaxed and friendly environment. It’s a small but enough space, wonderfully designed and there are plenty of spots to study with your laptop (there is good wi-fi), favorite one being the bench in the window. The staff is super friendly, and they serve the best coffee, featuring rotating guest roasters. For morning visits the porridge is a must try!

Shoe Lane Coffee
This coffee shop is another good spot and being on Tara street it's a stones throw from Tara train station and a short walk from Luas lines. It is decorated with vintage singer machines and traditional shoe making materials in the window that help you recognize it easily. They have all sorts of coffees, vegan and gluten free treats, wi-fi on site and outdoor seating as well. You can bring your own cup and ask them to fill it, they are pretty much flexible with everything.

Clement & Pekoe
Clement & Pekoe is passionate about loose leaf tea and freshly roasted coffee. It is decorated like a library of coffee shop; on the tables you can find a variety of books being disposed. They have wifi during the week but not at weekends. They also have a new shop on Blessington Street on the Northside of the city near the Mater Public & Private hospitals. The place is perfect for concentration.

Blas Café
Blas Cafe opened in October 2014 in the ground floor of the Chocolate Factory, the 110-year-old Williams & Woods building on King’s Inn Street. They serve flavorful food with vegetarian and gluten free options & some of the best coffee in town on the ground floor of Dublin's first ever concrete building. Even though the service is good the staff is super fast and friendly. Be careful, there is wi-fi but it might not work every day!

Füdi
Füdi is actually based in two central Dublin locations- Leeson Street and Lower Mount Street. They serve only fresh ingredients and there are a range pre-packed and pre-made sandwiches. Füdi is all about a healthy breakfast (with sandwiches, omelets, soup, porridge all available) for a very reasonable price. Of course, they have free wi-fi but not a lot of free sockets, so come prepared!

The shop has coffee from the most interesting roasteries in Europe, so their variety of single blends are always top quality. The baristas are friendly and are always on hand to offer advice. The filter, espresso and milk coffees are always as good as they get. On top of this they also offer a variety of seasonal drinks. The interior is very nice and friendly but also they have a terrace if you prefer to work in fresh air.

Costa
Costa is a coffee chain, just like Starbucks that you can also see in Dublin, can be found throughout Europe, and Dublin has their fair share of these shops. While they can be found on nearly every street corner, some are better than others. One of the favorite locations stands right behind Trinity College—perfect for a two-hour break between classes to get work done. They have a huge basement area with comfortable couches lining the walls and plenty of table seating. Downside: Wi-Fi is difficult to connect to. They also do some events in their stores such as book reading, discussions and so on.
