Work Friendly Cafes in London
Are you a freelancer that lives in London or a student that is bored of studying at home? Well, you should know that there are great places in London where you can stay all day long and get the job done! Check out this list of work-friendly cafés in London that have everything you might need, and of course, good coffee. 😊
Bloomsbury Coffee House
Bloomsbury Coffee House is a basement-level café with flowers on the entrance making it look like a small garden. You can freely sit on the chairs outside since you won’t be seeing the crowd and people passing by. It takes good sunlight from its big windows -at the entrance- and has long tables for people who want to study with their laptop. The place is quite silent so you should be able to work peacefully. Finally, they have breakfast & brunch types of food along with delicious coffee varieties.
Opening Hours: Mon – Fri: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. / Sat & Sun: 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

The Espresso Room
The Espresso Room has multiple cafes in London and the one in Bloomsbury is our favorite. This small yet peaceful coffee shop has a friendly staff that serves great coffee, and you can just take your order and sit at the tables outside. Our recommendation is to try the anzac cookie there!
Opening Hours: Mon – Fri: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. / Sat & Sun: Closed

EZ & Moss
EZ & Moss is a vegetarian & vegan coffee house with delicious seasonal food. There aren’t many power sockets in the place, just 2, so it is better to come there early. Also, they have a new “no laptop” policy every once in a while, so if you decide to go there you might need to first ask them if you can study here. However, even just for a coffee, you can stop by this place!
Opening Hours: Tue – Fri: 8:00 a.m. – 4 p.m. / Sat: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Just by looking at their delicious deserts, you might get attracted by Dillon’s Coffee and their coffee is one of the best in town! If you’re around the University of London, just pay a visit! There is Wi-Fi -but users say it is slow-, tables for small and big groups, and accessible power sockets. Also, if you’re a student don’t forget to use the student discount!
Opening Hours: Mon-Sat: 9:00 a.m. – 7 p.m. / Sun: 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
